This screen shows what your TV supports. Make sure these show green checkmarks:
Your TV can display 4K content.
Standard HDR format support.
Premium HDR format with dynamic metadata.
Seeing "Not Supported" when it should work?
Your TV's HDMI port might need "Enhanced" mode enabled. Check your TV settings for HDMI UHD Color, Deep Color, or Enhanced Format.
Enable 4K output.
Enable standard HDR.
Enable Dolby Vision for supported content.
Important! Allows movies to play at native 24fps.
This is for games - doesn't affect Plex.
Why "Allow 24Hz" matters
Movies are filmed at 24 frames per second. Enabling 24Hz lets Xbox output at native 24fps, eliminating judder and making movies look smooth and cinematic!
Sends surround audio directly to your sound system.
Or Dolby Digital if your system doesn't support Atmos.
TV speakers only?
Set HDMI audio to "Stereo uncompressed" - your TV will handle it properly.
